PROTECTION AND SHELTER WORKS
The port is located in the region protected by
the Baía de Todos os Santos
AREA OF INFLUENCE:
State of Bahia, with strong predominance to supply
and outflow liquid bulks and gas products to
companies at the Petrochemical Site in Camaçari
and in the mining and fertilizer field.
OPERATION
MODALITY AT THE ORGANIZED PORT
All the cargo management within the organized
port is performed by private registered companies
such as Harbor Operators, which are 13 (December
2nd). The terminals for liquid and gas products
are operated by the companies TEQUIMAR, TEGAL,
and VOPAK.
The Harbor operates 24 ( twenty four) hours/day,
divided into four shifts of six hours each: 7am – 1pm;
1pm – 7pm; 7pm – 1am; 1am – 6am
hours.
