PIER II FOR SOLID BULKS - TGS II

COASTING FACILITIES

Exploration modality/operational capacity: public pier, located at sea level + 4.50 m, with a mooring crib comprised by an operation platform with dimensions 210.00 x 15.00 m, and depth 12 meters.

Summary description: pier comprised by an iron concrete operation platform, with iron concrete circular poles, with 10 mooring dolphin with traction capacity of 50 kgf, connected to the hinterland by a bridge with similar characteristics, with the following dimensions 70.00 x 7.40 m, two iron concrete dolphins 5.20 x 5.20 m, each with a mooring dolphin and capacity for 100 kgf. There is a rail rolling route TR 57 on the pier, with only one 16t. kangaroo crane.

Since this pier is not yet properly equipped and the storage facilities are still not connected, general loose cargo is managed along with several different solid bulks to support Pier I.

Between Pier II and an area located near the CIMEX silo, an electric energy generating unit was installed, through leasing contract, by the NORDESTE GENERATION company, consisting of five floating rafts and one substation built on the ground area.
